At Nextra, we offer comprehensive consulting services. We analyse your specific requirements and develop creative solution proposals.
Our partner osapiens develops customised software solutions to capture, track, and optimise your entire supply chain.
The lawyers at our partner firm ensure that everything is legally sound, so you are on the safe side in all matters.
In the first step, we explain the obligations of the EUDR and help you identify relevant products, suppliers, and processes. Through a gap analysis, we find out where your current strategies and measures still have gaps and then jointly create an individual roadmap for successful implementation.
* If an osapiens license is acquired through Nextra Consulting, the costs of the project planning workshop are waived.
Afterward, we help you adapt documents and processes and coordinate them with the relevant departments and suppliers. We also support you in preparing master data and IT systems for the osapiens solution and accompany the onboarding of your suppliers so that the tool can be successfully implemented.
Subsequently, we set up an automated process for risk analysis for you, including satellite monitoring and management of due diligence statements and EUDR data. We also help you develop risk mitigation measures and, of course, support with reporting.
Finally, we identify opportunities to improve your sustainability strategy based on EUDR measures, for example, through greater supply chain transparency. We develop recommendations to optimally leverage synergies and potentials, such as more efficient processes for supplier inquiries.

EUDR stands for “European Union Deforestation Regulation”. This regulation aims to ensure that products sold in the EU do not contribute to deforestation and forest degradation.
The EUDR regulation requires companies to demonstrate that their products do not originate from recently deforested areas and do not cause forest damage. This applies to raw materials such as wood, coffee, cocoa, soy, palm oil, rubber, and beef, as well as products made from them.
All companies that sell, provide, or export the mentioned products from the EU are affected. This applies to large companies as well as small and medium-sized enterprises, with the latter having a longer adaptation period.
Violations of the EUDR directive can result in high fines for companies, up to 4% of their EU turnover, confiscation of affected products, and exclusion from public contracts and funding. Repeated violations can even lead to a trade ban in the EU.
Software solutions like those from osapiens make it easier to comply with EUDR requirements. They capture geolocation data, ensure supply chain traceability, and perform risk analyses. These tools also help in creating and managing the necessary due diligence declarations.
